We are currently looking for a proactive and reliable IT Service Desk Analyst to join our growing team based in Wigan. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build or develop their career in IT and technical support, within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
As an IT Service Desk Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day IT operations across the business. You’ll be the first point of contact for first-line technical issues and help ensure systems run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing first-line IT support to staff across the business
- Setting up new user accounts, laptops, and equipment
- Microsoft Office 365 administration
- Troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues
- Assisting with routine system updates, maintenance, and backup processes
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes from an IT perspective
- Security awareness
- Maintaining IT documentation and asset registers
- Producing KPI reports
- Assisting with helpdesk tickets
- Assisting senior IT with more complex issues

About You
- A keen interest in IT and technology
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a helpful, can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to confidently communicate with internal staff at all levels, remotely and in person
- Previous experience in an IT support or admin role (desirable but not essential)
