Overview
The Front of House Team Member is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while serving Myka's premium Greek frozen yoghurt and accompanying products. As the face of the brand, you will create a welcoming atmosphere, maintain high presentation standards, and ensure customers enjoy a friendly, efficient, and memorable experience.
Duties
Customer Service
· Welcome customers warmly and create a positive first impression.
· Engage with customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations.
· Assist customers with choosing flavours, toppings, and menu items.
· Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient service at all times.
· Resolve basic customer concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
Product Preparation & Service
· Serve Greek frozen yoghurt and prepare products according to Myka standards.
· Ensure accurate portion control and presentation.
· Replenish toppings, ingredients, and display areas throughout the day.
· Maintain product quality and freshness standards.
· Support the preparation of beverages and other menu items where applicable.
Store Presentation
· Keep the front of house area clean, organised, and fully stocked.
· Ensure seating, counters, displays, and customer areas are maintained to a high standard.
· Follow daily cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures.
· Maintain attractive product displays and merchandising standards.
Cash Handling & Transactions
· Process customer orders accurately using the POS system.
· Handle cash, card, and digital payments responsibly.
· Balance transactions and follow company cash-handling procedures.
· Promote loyalty programmes, special offers, and seasonal promotions.
Food Safety & Compliance
· Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
· Maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance standards.
· Ensure food handling practices comply with company and regulatory requirements.
· Report any health, safety, or maintenance concerns to management.
Teamwork
· Work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to achieve daily goals.
· Support team members during busy periods.
· Participate in training and development activities.
