Accounts Senior – Altrincham, Cheshire
£35,000 to £45,000 + Flexible Working + Career Progression
Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join a successful and growing firm of Chartered Accountants in Altrincham, Cheshire.
This role would suit an Accounts Senior, Accounts Semi Senior or Senior Accountant with previous practice experience and looking for a varied client portfolio and genuine progression.
The Role
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Preparing Corporation Tax computations and returns
- Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Assisting with management accounts
- Supporting and reviewing junior team members
- Liaising directly with clients and handling accounting queries
- Managing deadlines and delivering work to a high standard
The Person
- ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or QBE
- Previous accountancy practice experience
- Strong accounts preparation experience
- Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Good communication and client management skills
- Able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
