Help shape compliance in a growing health-tech business
Regenerus Labs is shaping the future of personalised healthcare.
We’re an all-in-one platform and trusted practitioner community, helping healthcare professionals deliver faster, more accurate and evidence-based care. With a portfolio of more than 150 tests, we provide diagnostic lab testing, digital tools, education and clinical support to functional and integrative health practitioners across the UK.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Compliance Officer to take day-to-day ownership of our compliance, data protection and information governance activities.
This is a varied role with real scope to make an impact. You’ll work closely with our Operations Director, Senior Management Team, department heads and specialist external advisers, helping us build robust, practical compliance processes that support the business as it develops.
What you’ll be doing
Your remit will be broad, covering areas such as UK GDPR and data protection, information governance, regulatory readiness, Software as a Medical Device, supplier due diligence, and internal compliance monitoring.
Day to day, you’ll:
-
Maintain and develop our data protection framework, including privacy notices, policies, retention schedules and Records of Processing Activities.
-
Coordinate DPIAs and support the management of DSARs, individual rights requests and data breaches.
-
Work with our external DPO on more complex data protection and regulatory matters.
-
Support regulatory assessments for software and AI-enabled products that may fall within Software as a Medical Device requirements.
-
Help maintain the evidence, governance records and audit trails needed for CQC and wider regulatory readiness.
-
Keep policies, SOPs and compliance documentation accurate, organised and up to date.
-
Support supplier due diligence, including data processing agreements and international data transfer requirements.
-
Carry out internal compliance checks, identify gaps and help ensure corrective actions are followed through.
-
Coordinate compliance training and help build awareness of data protection, confidentiality, information security and incident reporting across the business.
-
Prepare compliance updates, risk logs and reporting for senior management and the Board.
What we’re looking for
You’ll already have experience working in compliance, governance, risk or regulation, ideally within healthcare, medical, life sciences or another regulated environment. You’ll be comfortable working with regulatory requirements and translating them into practical processes that people across the organisation can understand and follow. Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who is organised, curious and meticulous without losing sight of the bigger picture. You’ll be confident working independently, managing competing priorities and handling sensitive information with discretion.
You’ll bring:
-
Experience in a compliance, governance, risk or regulatory role.
-
Experience of medical compliance or regulation.
-
A strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
-
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
-
Strong organisation and time management skills.
-
Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
-
The ability to build effective working relationships across different teams and levels of seniority.
Experience with GDPR/data protection, audits, or investigations would be particularly useful, as would a relevant qualification or professional certification in compliance, legal, business, or governance.
Why join Regenerus?
This is an opportunity to join a growing business operating at the intersection of healthcare, technology and diagnostics - an environment where good compliance genuinely matters.
Rather than stepping into a narrowly defined compliance post, you’ll have exposure to a wide range of regulatory and governance issues and the opportunity to help strengthen how compliance is embedded across the organisation.
If you enjoy bringing structure to complexity, spotting where things could work better and helping a business grow in the right way, we’d love to hear from you.
