We are seeking a solicitor, barrister, legal consultant or regulatory specialist with demonstrable experience in Housing Act 2004 enforcement matters.
Project Overview
A local authority has issued a Notice of Intended Financial Penalty relating to alleged HMO licensing and management regulation offences under the Housing Act 2004.
We require an experienced professional to review the matter and prepare formal written representations to the local authority.
Scope of Work
- Review Notice of Intended Financial Penalty
- Review supporting evidence and documentation
- Assess strengths and weaknesses of the case
- Advise on liability, defence position and mitigation
- Draft written representations for submission to the local authority
This is a document-based project only and should not last for more than 3 days. No hearings, court attendance or ongoing litigation are currently required.
