IMMEDIATE START: Bar & Bistro Waiting Staff – Pig & Potato, York
Per Hour: £13.00 + share of tips
Hours: Between 12:00-23:00 Wednesday to Saturday & occasionally 12:00-18:00 on Sundays (Always guaranteed Mondays & Tuesdays off).
Pig & Potato is a small, vibrant bar & bistro in the heart of York. We’re passionate about serving high-quality, homemade food, including our famous gluten-free sausages, alongside a great selection of beers, wines, and cocktails, all in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.
We’re looking for a server who is enthusiastic, organised, and ready to be part of our team. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day operations, customer experience, and helping our bistro thrive. Social media experience is a big plus, as we love sharing our food, drinks, and events online to connect with our community.

The ideal candidate:
- Has experience in bartending (including knowledge of classic cocktails) & waiting
- Understands front-of-house operations and great customer service
- Is organised, motivated, and hands-on
- Knowledge of booking systems and how to use them (resdiary)
- Has a passion for food and drink, especially in a gluten-free kitchen
- Can confidently manage social media and help promote the bistro online
- Ensures standards remain high
- Enjoys working with beers, wines, and cocktails
