Motor Vehicle Technician
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Motor Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop, working across Ford, KGM, and a range of other vehicle brands.
The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing, maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and warranty work, with knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to interpret technical wiring diagrams. Manufacturer training will be provided to help you develop your skills further.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs, and warranty work to a high standard.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Complete vehicle health checks and accurately report findings.
- Record all work carried out and parts used accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and workshop standards.
What We're Looking For
- Good technical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence (required).
- MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with Ford and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) is an advantage but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, reliable, and a great team player.
