Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently using basic math skills for accurate payments
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light bites when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality
Experience
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in handling beverages and snacks
- Experience in serving customers in fast-paced environments enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order processing
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers
