Dalkia have an opportunity for an experienced Cleaner to join the facilities management team, on a part-time basis as a Cleaner based at our EDF office in Aztec West.
Hours
15 hours per week, Monday – Friday 5pm – 8pm
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out all cleaning duties as required. Including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of toilets, floors and periodic deep cleans
- Adhere to the cleaning schedule and ensure cleaning tasks are carried out in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure that internal facilities are maintained to a clean and hygienic condition
- Ensure equipment is clean and ready use
- Ensure the effective use of equipment and materials reporting any issues to the Facilities Manager
- Check all facilities are stocked sufficiently as required
- Advise of low stock levels reporting to the Facilities Manager to ensure the correct quantities are available
- Identify faults within the site and report them to the Facilities Manager
- Help manage and control of any cleaning chemicals according to COSHH regulations
- Adhere to all Company health and safety requirements and expectations
- Be prepared to undertake additional training to aid flexibility
- Identify areas where improvements need to be made, and ensuring these are carried out supporting the Facilities Manager in achieving the desired site standards
- Make suggestions to improve the services of the team
- Wear the appropriate uniforms and safety equipment where required

Impact
As an effective member of the team, you will be required to demonstrate positive behaviours and flexibility. You will be focused on customer care with a “can do” attitude. The role requires someone who thinks and plans ahead and is organised in approach to ensure adherence to the cleaning schedule. A collaborative and motivated attitude is desired.
Complexity
We expect the candidate to provide efficient and effective cleaning support to the site throughout the time on site. This will include ensuring that the security and general appearance of the site is maintained in accordance with the required standards.
