We’re looking for confident, energetic, and enthusiastic individuals to fill the role of Casual Bar Staff at Wakefield Trinity.
As a part of our team, you will help ensure that every guest has an unforgettable experience on match days and potentially at our other events.
You’ll work in a dynamic environment, whether behind the bar serving drinks or assisting with food service..This is a great opportunity to be part of an incredible team in the heart of the action.
This role is predominantly for Wakefield Trinity home match day fixtures during our 2026 super league season, therefore all candidates should check their availability against the fixtures before submitting an application.
However, there is the possibility of working further events throughout the season.
Candidates should note that interviews for this role will take place in person on Saturday 18th July only.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve drinks to customers efficiently, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring a safe, welcoming space for both staff and guests.
Handle card transactions smoothly and accurately
Assist with food service, ensuring orders are delivered promptly and to the correct specifications.
Work as part of a collaborative team to ensure smooth operations during events, contributing to an excellent customer experience from start to finish.
Greet and seat guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bar/dining area throughout the event.
Assist with event setup, including preparing the space and ensuring everything is in place for the event's start.
Support event breakdown, ensuring that all areas are returned to their pre-event condition.
Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests, ensuring smooth service throughout the event.
Ideal Candidates Will:
Be flexible and adaptable, willing to help across the team wherever needed.
whilst experience is not essential for candidates demonstrating a willingness to learn, previous experience working in a bar or hospitality setting would be advantageous.
Be confident, approachable, and proactive in delivering excellent customer service.
Demonstrate a flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.
Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
