Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated areas. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to manage multiple deliveries in a timely manner. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Location: Gravesend
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
- Contract: Temporary (3 months), with the possibility of a permanent position

Duties
- Safely operate company delivery vans to complete multiple daily deliveries across various locations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secure during transit and handling heavy lifting when necessary.
- Plan efficient routes to optimise delivery times and minimise fuel consumption.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies during all aspects of work.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with multi-drop deliveries.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries is desirable.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, especially involving heavy lifting or manual handling tasks.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Organised with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple deliveries.
- Physically fit to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking during shifts.
This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service while maintaining safety standards throughout their duties. This role is a temporary 3 month contract, with the possibility or a permanent position subject to performance and business needs.
Pay: £550.00 per week
