Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Critical Facilities Engineer to oversee the maintenance, operation, and safety of essential infrastructure within our critical facilities. Responsibilities
- Manage and execute preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and control systems within critical facilities.
- Operate and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and other automation systems to ensure seamless facility operations.
- Lead maintenance activities involving welding, electrical work, and mechanical repairs with precision and safety in mind.
- Supervise a team of technicians and contractors, providing guidance, training, and oversight to ensure high-quality work standards.
- Develop and review schematics, technical drawings, and system documentation to support ongoing maintenance efforts.
- Conduct inspections of facility infrastructure to identify potential issues early and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to address client needs swiftly while maintaining safety protocols and operational excellence.
Experience
- Proven experience in electrical or mechanical systems within critical infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, welding techniques, and general electrical experience.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance activities across diverse systems.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience managing technical teams or contractors in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination across teams.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering reliable solutions under pressure.
- Experience in supervising complex projects or maintenance schedules while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
