Summary
Rain Rescue is seeking a dedicated Chef/Cook to join our team in Misson for our new cafe opening. We are seeking a passionate and talented person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high quality food, managing daily kitchen operations, maintaining strict hygiene standards and developing menus. Running front of House as and when required.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking high quality food items for our menu,
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
- Manage food inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with wider team to contribute to the growth and success of the cafe
- Follow food safety regulations at all times.
- Support community events
- Ensure all food preparation areas are hygienic and organized.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Chef/Cook in similar environments.
- Excellent Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a kitchen environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team
