We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and technically capable Technology Operations Lead to own and oversee the day-to-day technology operations that power our business.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on technology operations leadership role responsible for ensuring Thrive Rx's technology ecosystem operates efficiently, reliably, and securely.
You will serve as the primary owner of technology operations across the organization, working closely with leadership, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to support business systems, resolve operational issues, manage technology initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
This is not a software engineering position and does not involve building customer-facing products or application development. Instead, the focus is on operational excellence, systems management, process improvement, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and technology enablement.
The ideal candidate combines strong operational discipline with technical understanding and takes ownership from issue identification through successful resolution.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Operations & Systems Management
- Own and oversee day-to-day technology operations across the organization
- Manage business-critical systems, SaaS applications, and operational technology platforms
- Ensure systems are configured, maintained, documented, and operating effectively
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and operational risks
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technology-related operational issues
- Develop operational standards, processes, and documentation
Incident Management & Problem Resolution
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technology-related issues
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, vendors, and service providers
- Establish and improve incident management and escalation processes
- Investigate root causes and implement preventative measures
- Reduce downtime and minimize operational disruptions
- Ensure issues are resolved efficiently and thoroughly
Systems, Integrations & Technology Initiatives
- Support implementation of new systems, software, and technology initiatives
- Oversee operational aspects of integrations and data flows between systems
- Assist with system migrations, upgrades, and process improvements
- Validate functionality and readiness before production deployment
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives and operational requirements
Security, Access Management & Compliance
- Manage user provisioning, permissions, and access controls
- Maintain technology governance and operational security processes
- Support cybersecurity awareness and security best practices
- Assist with compliance initiatives, audits, and documentation requirements
- Ensure proper handling and protection of business-critical data
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
- Reduce manual processes through automation and workflow optimization
- Implement AI-enabled productivity tools and automation solutions where appropriate
- Recommend technology improvements that support growth and scalability
- Drive continuous improvement across business operations
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with leadership to identify priorities and technology needs
- Translate business requirements into actionable technology initiatives
- Support operational, customer service, administrative, and clinical teams
- Coordinate external vendors, consultants, and technology partners
- Drive adoption of new systems and operational processes
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technology operations, IT operations, systems administration, technical support, business systems management, or a related field
- Experience supporting business-critical technology environments
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and cloud-based business systems
- Experience managing software vendors and third-party technology providers
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving operational technology issues
- Experience working with integrations, automation tools, and connected business systems
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong ownership mentality and proactive problem-solving approach
- Ability to work during U.S. business hours
Preferred Experience
- Healthcare, pharmacy, telehealth, or regulated industry experience
- E-commerce or customer-facing operational platforms

Compensation
Hourly Rate: $20.00 USD per hour
Annual Equivalent: Approximately $41,600 USD per year (based on a full-time schedule)
Important: Compensation displayed on Indeed may appear in PLN or another local currency due to platform requirements and automatic currency conversion.
This position is paid in U.S. Dollars (USD)
The salary displayed in local currency is provided solely for job board compliance and reference purposes. The successful candidate will be compensated directly in USD at a rate of $20.00 USD per hour, regardless of country of residence.
This is a fully remote independent contractor position. Applicants must be comfortable working as an independent contractor and receiving compensation in U.S. Dollars.
