Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy restaurant team. The role involves supporting the kitchen team by keeping the kitchen equipment and work areas clean, organised and hygienic, while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Keep kitchen floors, work surfaces and storage areas clean and organised.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic preparation and other kitchen duties when required.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and correctly.
- Follow food safety, health and safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Ensure cleaning products and equipment are stored safely.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised working environment.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties to support the smooth running of the restaurant.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new product lines that blend traditional pottery with modern web design elements.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
