Duties
- Assist with the fabrication of sheet metal components using hand tools and basic tooling equipment
- Support welding and grinding tasks under supervision to develop precision and technique
- Learn to measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal parts accurately using basic math skills
- Help with the maintenance and organization of tools, materials, and workspace for efficient workflow
- Participate in safety procedures and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
- Observe and assist in the use of mechanical knowledge for assembly and installation tasks
- Follow instructions from senior team members to ensure adherence to project specifications
Requirements
- A strong interest in metalworking, fabrication, or mechanical trades with a desire to learn new skills
- Basic understanding of math concepts relevant to measurement and assembly tasks
- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively with close supervision
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise work
