Kitchen Porter (Part-Time)
The Open Arms Hotel, Dirleton
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our friendly kitchen team at The Open Arms Hotel.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly.
Hours
* Monday to Friday
* 10:00am – 2:00pm
* 7:00pm – 10:00pm
* 35 hours per week
Rate of Pay
* £12.50 – £13.50 per hour
* Dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
* Washing dishes, pots and kitchen equipment
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
* Assisting with deliveries and stock storage
* Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required
* Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedures
* Keeping kitchen and storage areas clean, organised and tidy
What We’re Looking For
* Reliable and punctual
* Hardworking with a positive attitude
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Previous kitchen experience beneficial but not essential
* Good attention to detail and cleanliness
