Job Overview
Enmore Care Supply Ltd is looking for caring and reliable Domiciliary Support Care Workers to join our growing team in Leicester and surrounding areas.
You will provide high quality care and support to people in their own homes. Your role will help clients remain safe, independent and comfortable while maintaining their dignity and choice.
We welcome both experienced care workers and people who are new to care and have the right values and willingness to learn.
Main Duties
- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.
- Support with medication in line with company policy.
- Help with meal preparation and encourage healthy eating.
- Assist with light household tasks, including cleaning and laundry.
- Support clients with shopping and attending appointments.
- Encourage independence and promote wellbeing.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Complete accurate care records after each visit.
- Report any changes in a client’s health or wellbeing.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Work closely with families and other health and social care professionals where needed.
Requirements
- Caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, flexible and able to work independently.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential.
