Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager specialising in scaffolding, insulation, and painting projects. This role involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and supervision of construction activities on-site to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, supervisory experience, and familiarity with Primavera P6 project management software. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise scaffolding, insulation, and painting teams on-site to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 via on site planner, coordinating resources effectively to meet deadlines.
- Oversee daily operations, including organising work sequences, allocating tasks, and monitoring progress against project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all activities, conducting regular site inspections.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment necessary for each phase of the project.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, progress reports, and safety records.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to site personnel, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing scaffolding, insulation, or painting projects within a construction environment on new build projects
- Supervising experience with a track record of leading diverse teams effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Excellent management skills with the capacity to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members at all levels.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or related fields are preferred but not essential.
