Kidzrus Private Day Nursery & Forest School is looking for an enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career in early years within a supportive, forward-thinking nursery environment.
A recognised Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification (or equivalent) is desirable, however Level 2 Early Years Practitioners will be taken into consideration.
Your Role
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you'll be an important part of our nursery team, helping to create an environment where children can thrive.
You'll work closely with room leaders and colleagues to plan and deliver activities that inspire curiosity, encourage learning and make every day at nursery enjoyable. You'll get to know each child's individual interests and needs, supporting their development through meaningful experiences and positive interactions.
At Kidzrus, safeguarding always comes first. As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you'll play a key role in protecting children and promoting their safety, health, wellbeing and nutritional needs. Working with parents and carers to ensure that children receive a well rounded and cohesive up bringing in their formative years.
Kidzrus Forest School & Private Day Nursery is an Ofsted-rated Outstanding setting, providing children with a safe, nurturing and stimulating place to learn, play and grow.
Our nursery welcomes up to 78 children across a range of ages. Our thoughtfully designed and well-resourced rooms create a warm, home from home atmosphere where children feel secure, confident and ready to explore the world around them.

Key Responsibilities:
As our Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you'll:
- Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where children feel confident to learn and explore.
- Observe, assess and support children's individual learning and development.
- Keep accurate observations and developmental records.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in accordance with the EYFS Framework.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Support inclusive practice and children with additional needs.
- Promote children's safety, health, wellbeing and nutritional needs.
- Work closely with room leaders, colleagues and relevant external professionals.
- Support apprentices and contribute to their development.
- Take part in training, supervision, appraisals and ongoing professional development.
- Follow all nursery policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements.
Key Requirements:
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner you should have:
- A recognised Level 3 Early Years Practitioner / Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent.
- Experience within an early years, nursery or childcare setting.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
- An understanding of Ofsted expectations and standards.
- Up-to-date knowledge of child development and early years practice.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs would be advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork, communication and professional skills.
- A commitment to confidentiality and maintaining high standards of professional practice.
- A genuine passion for helping young children learn, develop and reach their potential.
