Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi-trade Operative specialising in groundwork and dis-repair tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a variety of maintenance, repair, and construction activities across multiple trades. Duties
- Carry out general groundwork tasks including excavation, levelling, and site preparation.
- Perform carpentry work such as framing, fitting, and repairs.
- Conduct roofing repairs and maintenance as required.
- Undertake construction painting to ensure surfaces are finished to standard.
- Assist with plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Execute masonry work including bricklaying, pointing, and concrete work.
- Handle electrical tasks within scope of experience, ensuring safety standards are maintained.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for various repair and construction activities.
- Fabricate components or structures as needed to support ongoing projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks across multiple trades.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, , or electrical work.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to construction and repair activities.
- Demonstrable skills in fabrication techniques and the ability to adapt to different project requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work are desirable but not essential.
- A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Pay: £24,420.00-£49,401.49 per year
