Manufacturing Operative
We currently have opportunities for morning and afternoon shifts.
Your working hours will be between 06:00 and 22:00, on a set shift but with flexability to change, should the business require it in the future.
You will be working as a manufacturing operative, joining our team producing insulated glass units for a busy manufacturing company based in Queenborough, Kent.
Ideally, you would have experience in a manufacturing environment or the glass/window industry,
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Experience:
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience in operating machinery and handling tools used in glass manufacturing.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
Desirable:
- Education:
- GCSEs or equivalent in Mathematics, English, and Science.
- Vocational qualifications in manufacturing or engineering.
- Experience:
- Specific experience in glass manufacturing or a related industry.
- Experience with CNC machines, glass cutting, or other specialized glass manufacturing processes.
- Basic understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
