Job Summary
We are seeking friendly and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring guests receive exceptional service from arrival to departure. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality sector, including catering, serving, and food preparation. Previous restaurant or barista experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality are essential. All roles are paid positions, including internships.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest needs promptly
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Handle payments accurately and process transactions efficiently
- Support catering services during events or special functions
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or hospitality environment is preferred
- Barista experience is a plus but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if required
