Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Service Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer interactions, processing transactions, and supporting the service department to ensure smooth operations. Duties
- Handle customer enquiries in person, via phone, and email with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage appointment scheduling and service bookings efficiently
- Upsell additional services or products where appropriate to maximise customer satisfaction and revenue
- Process cash and card payments accurately, maintaining proper cash handling procedures
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, customer details, and service history
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Support the service team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of organisation and service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or administrative roles is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is important
- Ability to upsell products or services confidently and professionally
- Cash handling experience with attention to accuracy and security
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Part-Time Service Administrator & Estimator
Hours: 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day)
Pay: £24,750.00-£26,813.00 per year, pro rata
