Job Description
Location: Lanark Memorial Hall, St Leonard's Street, Lanark
Hours: Casual as and when required
Hourly Rate: £14.51 - £14.83 per hour
Duration: Casual as and when required
Are you passionate about live events, theatre, and technical production? We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Theatre Technicians to support the delivery of performances, productions, and events within our venues.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the team that brings performances, events and productions to life. Working behind the scenes, you will play a key role in supporting a wide variety of live events and activities.
Your duties will include:
- Setting up and operating sound, lighting and PA systems
- Assisting with stage sets and audio-visual equipment
- Supporting the preparation and smooth delivery of performances and events
- Undertaking get-ins and get-outs
- Carrying out a range of stage crew and technical support duties
- Ensuring equipment and work areas are maintained safely and efficiently
About You
We are looking for flexible, reliable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a team.
It is essential that you have experience of working within a technical department, preferably within a theatre or performance venue.
Working Pattern
This role is ideal for those who enjoy the excitement of live events. Working hours will be predominantly evenings and weekends, including some late finishes. There may also be opportunities for occasional daytime work.
