Customer Service & eCommerce Administrator (Part-Time)
HOURS: 15–25 hours per week (negotiable). Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am–1:00pm, although start and finish times can be discussed for the right candidate.

We're looking for a Customer Service & eCommerce Administrator to join our friendly website office team at Pendle Village. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing online furniture business.
Pendle Village Furniture is one of Lancashire's leading independent furniture retailers, with a growing eCommerce business serving customers across the UK. Based in our offices at Pendle Village, you'll be supporting customers from the moment they place an order through to delivery. Whether you're answering product enquiries, processing orders, coordinating deliveries or working with suppliers, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Customer Service & eCommerce Administrator, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of our online furniture business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Providing a high standard of customer service via telephone and email
- Engaging with customers to answer product, order and delivery enquiries
- Resolving customer queries promptly by offering effective solutions or escalating more complex issues where appropriate
- Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers and delivery drivers to coordinate deliveries
- Keeping customers updated throughout the order and delivery process
- Logging and maintaining accurate customer records and order information
- Completing general office administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Supporting administrative processes and ensuring company procedures are followed correctly
- Working closely with colleagues to provide a seamless customer experience
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who is friendly, organised and enjoys providing excellent customer service.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a customer service, administration or office-based role (preferred, but not essential)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy office environment
- A proactive approach to problem solving and resolving customer enquiries
- Excellent data entry and general administration skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with confidence using business software and learning new systems
- The ability to follow processes accurately and work independently when required
- A positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a small, friendly team
Full training will be provided, so we're looking for the right attitude and willingness to learn just as much as previous experience.
