Alongside this, we are a leading specialist in Electric Vehicle (EV) charging solutions, managing everything from end‑to‑end installation through to ongoing routine safety inspections.
To be considered for this role, you will live in North London or the Home Counties, Watford or Romford being ideal locations.
What will you be doing?
As a Electrical Remedial Engineer for BES Electrical, you will carry out electrical testing within the social housing industry within the North West and Yorkshire area. Within this role, you will undertake electrical testing in domestic/ communal areas and carry out any associated remedial works identified.
You will:
- Undertaking high-quality electrical repairs and remedial works following inspection, such as, distribution board changes, RCDs and socket changes
- Opportunity to get involved in small projects such as EV installations.
- To comply with company standards of work performance, ensuring implementation and compliance within electrical policies and procedures.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilise both our CRM system and reporting software to accurately record electrical documentation.
- Liaise with customers and members of our supply chain, ensuring you provide an excellent service.
- Maintain van stocks and provide information enabling the improvements of first time fixes for the area you work within

To join our team, you will need:
- Qualifications including: NVQ Level 3 Qualification in electrical installation work e.g. C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (2394 / 2395)
- To demonstrate a positive, diverse and inclusive attitude to both internal and external customers and colleagues.
- A flexible approach to working, you should be able and willing to work overtime to cover workloads during busy periods.
- Be happy to work nights 1 week out of every month.
- To be hard-working, conscientious Electrician that takes satisfaction from delivering a great service to our prestigious client base.
- Good level of computer literacy
- Full driving licence
