Derma Sense is looking for an experienced and passionate educator to deliver professional training in semi-permanent makeup (PMU), scalp micropigmentation and advanced medical micropigmentation.
Treatments Covered
- Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)
- Areola Reconstruction and Medical Tattooing
- Eyebrow PMU, including hairstrokes, ombré and powder brows
- Lip Blush and Lip Neutralisation
- Eyeliner and Lash Enhancement
- Colour Theory and Colour Correction
- Client Consultation, Treatment Planning and Aftercare
- Hygiene, Infection Prevention and Safe Working Practices
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging theory and practical training sessions.
- Demonstrate treatments clearly, safely and professionally.
- Support students during hands-on practice and live-model treatments.
- Assess students’ knowledge, practical skills and case studies.
- Provide constructive feedback, mentoring and ongoing support.
- Prepare equipment, course materials and treatment areas.
- Maintain accurate attendance, assessment and progress records.
- Ensure training meets relevant hygiene, health and safety, licensing and industry requirements.
- Keep course content aligned with developments in the PMU and SMP industries.
- Help create a professional, positive and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Requirements
- Extensive professional experience in PMU, SMP or micropigmentation.
- Strong practical skills in several of the treatments listed above.
- A recognised PMU, SMP or micropigmentation qualification.
- A teaching or assessor qualification, or willingness to obtain one.
- A professional portfolio showing fresh and healed results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Confidence teaching students at different experience levels.
- High standards of hygiene, professionalism and client care.
- Appropriate insurance and any licences required for the role.
Experience in areola reconstruction, medical tattooing, education or student assessment is highly desirable.
