As part of our mission to produce the best lamb and beef from naturally sustainable sources, we are seeking Full-time and Part-time General Operatives to join our thriving Abattoir team. This is your chance to make a real impact on the food production process while working alongside experienced professionals who are committed to producing better food, naturally.

Responsibilities

We would love to hear from individuals who enjoy working with other, taking pride in doing things properly and feel comfortable following procedures in a regulated environment.

You’ll be someone who:

Takes initiative and enjoys getting things done
Follows instructions and works with care and consistency

Good communication and team working skills
Is reliable and hardworking

Your main duties will include:

Playing a key role in the early stages of the food supply chain.
Trimming, sorting and preparing products.
Working alongside a team of experienced abattoir butchers and general operatives
Ensuring that all customer and company specifications are met.
Keeping your work area clean and organized at all times, following our ‘clean as you go’ policy.
Promoting and maintaining excellent Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards
