Job Summary:
We are seeking an organised Fleet Operations Coordinator to support the safe, efficient and reliable operation of company vehicles. You will coordinate vehicle availability, maintenance, documentation and driver communication while helping reduce downtime and operating costs.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate daily fleet movements and vehicle availability
- Schedule servicing, MOT tests, inspections and repairs
- Communicate with drivers, workshops, suppliers and hire companies
- Maintain accurate vehicle, mileage and maintenance records
- Monitor fuel usage, vehicle costs and operational performance
- Arrange breakdown support and replacement vehicles
- Track insurance, tax and compliance documentation
- Support vehicle allocation, collection and return processes
- Review invoices and resolve supplier or maintenance queries
- Identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and reduce downtime
Requirements:
- Experience in fleet, transport, logistics or operations is helpful
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Ability to manage several priorities and respond to changing needs
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, databases and fleet systems
- Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
- Practical problem-solving and customer-service skills
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance or fleet compliance is an advantage
- A driving licence is helpful where travel or vehicle movement is required

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
