About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Officer to join our Quality team. Reporting to the Designate Director of Quality, you will play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with internal procedures, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
As our Quality Officer, you will:
- Manage and develop the internal audit programme, carrying out Quality Management System (QMS) audits across the business.
- Produce monthly audit reports, identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the investigation and management of risks, opportunities, and corrective actions, ensuring actions are completed and effective.
- Work closely with the Process Improvement Lead and other stakeholders to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist Quality and Technical Managers with the development, implementation, and review of policies, procedures, and quality documentation.
- Maintain the equipment calibration programme, ensuring records remain accurate and compliant with quality and accreditation requirements.
- Support the use of AI tools, where appropriate, to improve the efficiency, consistency, and accuracy of quality management activities while ensuring outputs are reviewed and validated.
What You'll Be Measured On
- Maintaining the internal audit schedule and escalating significant non-conformances promptly.
- Producing timely monthly audit reports with meaningful trend analysis.
- Supporting the effective management of risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
- Delivering quality documentation and procedure updates within agreed timescales.
- Ensuring calibration activities are completed and recorded in line with company and accreditation requirements.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Experience working within a Quality Management System.
- Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17065, and/or ISO 9001.
- Internal auditing experience (or experience supporting audit programmes).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work across multiple departments.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
