Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance
- Handle janitorial tasks including trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold health standards
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects and specialized custodial tasks as needed to support large-scale maintenance efforts
- Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and ensuring equipment is in good working order
- Maintain cleanliness standards by following established protocols for commercial and residential environments
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and tools are stored safely and used efficiently to maximize productivity
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial practices
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and industrial cleaning methods
- Experience with commercial cleaning environments or residential painting is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
