Stoke by Nayland Resort is looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Spa Receptionist to join the team at our luxurious Peake Spa.
Reporting to the Peake Operations Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring every visitor receives a warm welcome and exceptional service from arrival to departure. This is a varied role combining reception duties, spa hosting, diary management, retail sales, and maintaining the presentation of our spa facilities.
Please note: This role includes evening, weekend, early and late shifts, so flexibility is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide an outstanding customer experience.
- Handle enquiries professionally in person, over the telephone, and via email.
- Manage spa and gym bookings, ensuring diaries are utilised effectively to maximise occupancy.
- Follow booking procedures, company policies, and payment processes accurately.
- Process administration, correspondence, billing, and reception paperwork to a high standard.
- Resolve guest queries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Promote and sell spa treatments, retail products, hotel facilities, and additional services.
- Deliver Rasul treatments and maintain the treatment room.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all spa areas.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the spa.
About You

- Has a professional, positive, and welcoming approach.
- Has excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Has previous customer service experience (spa, leisure, hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous).
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Has an excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Remains calm and organised under pressure.
- Is flexible to work evenings, weekends, early and late shifts.
