Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to oversee operations within our West London location. This position is temporary for maternity leave cover, but a great opportunity to enter a leading business at Area Manager level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading teams, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires strategic planning, strong leadership, and a focus on achieving business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity across approximately 20 stores.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet business goals and expand market presence
- Supervise and mentor team members, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment
- Oversee profit & loss statements, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded
- Drive business development initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Manage projects related to process improvement, operational efficiency, and service delivery
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop strategies that increase revenue streams
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
Requirements
- Proven management experience with a strong background in supervising teams and leading projects
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, business development, and process improvement
- Knowledge of profit & loss management and financial analysis skills
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on motivating teams and fostering collaboration
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Effective communication skills tailored for diverse audiences including staff, clients, and stakeholders
- Prior experience in sales or client relationship management is preferred
- Ability to analyse data, identify opportunities for growth, and implement effective solutions
