Meet Our Client
We are currently supporting a young adult in his 20s living in Norton Canes who enjoys arts and crafts and creative activities with his care team.
We are looking for caring, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to join a compassionate team providing 1:1 support across day and night shifts within the family home.
This rewarding role involves supporting a young man with complex care needs, ensuring he is safe, comfortable, and able to enjoy meaningful daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and daily living support
- Supporting with moving and handling using a ceiling track hoist
- Assisting with PEG feeding and medication administration
- Supporting with epilepsy management and respiratory care
- Deep suctioning and chest physiotherapy support
- Promoting engagement in arts, crafts, and other activities
- Monitoring wellbeing and maintaining a calm, safe environment during night shifts
- Repositioning throughout the night as required
What You'll Need:
- A minimum of 3 months’ care experience
- Confidence with medication administration, personal care, and moving & handling
- A caring, compassionate, and reliable approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
