This is a full time role
Duties
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials for scheduled procedures
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining treatments, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Manage reception duties including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling patient records
- Operate IT systems to update patient information accurately and efficiently
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments in compliance with health regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as invoicing, processing payments, and managing correspondence
Skills
- Proven experience as a qualified dental nurse with relevant certification or registration
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members in English
- Excellent organizational skills to manage appointments, records, and clinical supplies smoothly
- Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism
- Proficiency in IT systems used within dental practices for record keeping and scheduling
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices relevant to dental care
