We are looking to recruit a Wake Night Support worker to join a dynamic and enthusiastic team. The shifts run from 9pm - 7:30am on a 3 on 3 off basis including weekends and bank holidays. Supervisions and training sessions will be conducted during daytime hours, therefore some daytime working will be required. Due to the nature of the work and it being full time it is not suitable for students
Wake Night Support work is primarily lone working so any applicant will need to be confident in completing this task. Some experience of working in this sector would be beneficial however would not be essential for the right applicant
Our service is dedicated to supporting individuals with complex mental health needs in their own home. The position is site based (working out of an office in a building in which all service users flats are located) The work that you do will enable these individuals to lay foundations for their future, which will support them to achieve important goals and make positive changes.
Our Wake Night Support Workers are an essential part of our team, supporting the Support staff and our STaR workers to action support plans with the service users.
You will need to have a keen interest in working with individuals who have long term mental health issues, alcohol/ drug misuse alongside a potential forensic history.
You will be part of a team which also includes a Senior Worker, STaR workers and Day time Support staff.
