Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly staff to join our vibrant Ice Cream and Donut Parlour team. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of sweet treats. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment, engaging with customers and creating delightful desserts. Prior experience in food preparation or a passion for culinary arts is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position is suitable for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced setting and have a keen eye for detail.
Duties
- Prepare and serve ice creams, donuts, and other confectionery items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist customers with their orders, providing friendly and efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Restock display counters with fresh products as needed throughout the shift
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the parlour
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, food preparation, or a similar role is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is desirable
- Experience working in a restaurant or bakery environment is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to work during weekends, evenings, and bank holiday.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
