Key Responsibilities
Furniture Design & CAD Drafting
- Produce accurate 2D technical drawings and 3D furniture models using CAD software.
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings, cutting lists, and assembly documentation.
- Develop bespoke furniture designs based on client requirements and project specifications.
Technical Coordination
- Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are practical and ready for manufacture.
- Resolve technical design challenges while maintaining quality and functionality.
- Update drawings throughout the project lifecycle to reflect approved design changes.
Project Collaboration
- Collaborate with project managers, interior designers, and clients to understand project requirements.
- Support design presentations with visual layouts and technical documentation.
- Ensure projects are delivered accurately and within agreed timelines.
Quality & Accuracy
- Review drawings for precision, dimensions, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Maintain organized project documentation and drawing revisions.
- Follow company standards and industry best practices throughout the design process.
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Previous experience as a CAD Furniture Designer, Furniture Designer, CAD Technician, Joinery Designer, or similar role.
- Experience producing manufacturing drawings for bespoke furniture or interior fit-out projects is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and other furniture design software.
- Experience creating detailed technical drawings, layouts, and production documentation.
- Understanding of furniture construction methods, materials, joinery, and manufacturing processes.
Communication
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable collaborating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Attention to Detail
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High level of accuracy and commitment to delivering quality work.

Pay: £33,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
