Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Duties
- Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and organising ingredients
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and organised workspace throughout service
- Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Restock supplies and organise storage areas to facilitate efficient kitchen operations
- Assist with setting up and clearing down dining areas as required
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, or culinary techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with kitchen hygiene standards and safety procedures is beneficial
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
