Job Description
As a production planner you will be responsible for the planning of production to fulfil customer requirements and necessary company agreed stock levels and all associated tasks.
About You
You must have good, clear communication skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations as and when they occur, be forward thinking and have a flexible approach to meet the needs of the department. You must be competent in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with compilation of strategic plans.
· Process orders with due regard to stock, identify manufacturing requirements.
· Generate/maintain production plans, work orders and Barco plans.
· Strive to provide exceptional customer service making use of the latest information of machine output and technical information to incorporate into plans
· Communication of calculated/revised delivery dates to Sales.
· Monitor and control stock levels.
· Liaise with other departments and transfer information electronically as required.
· Printing of reports and sending information.
· Produce/maintain monitoring information.
· Attend and contribute to various daily/weeks site control meetings.
· Maintain a polite and clear telephone manner. Clear communication at all levels.
· Process/produce manufacturing and performance statistics as required.
·· Assist other department personnel and holiday cover as agreed
· Work on own initiative.
