Summer Holiday Camp Coach
Overview
We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic and reliable Holiday Camp Coaches to join our team during the Summer Holidays. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver fun, active and engaging holiday camps for children aged 3-13 years.
As a Holiday Camp Coach, you'll help create an unforgettable experience by leading games, gymnastics activities, obstacle courses, team challenges and creative sessions in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment. Whether children attend for one day or the whole summer, you'll play a key role in ensuring they leave smiling and full of confidence.
Previous experience working with children, coaching sport or leading activities is desirable, although full training will be provided.
Duties
- Deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities throughout the day, including gymnastics, games, sports and team-building activities.
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and enjoyment.
- Create an inclusive environment where every child feels welcome, supported and encouraged.
- Adapt activities to suit different ages, abilities and confidence levels.
- Set up and pack away equipment before and after each session.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe activity environment.
- Encourage positive behaviour and act as a positive role model.
- Provide excellent customer service when communicating with parents and guardians at drop-off and collection.
- Work collaboratively with the wider coaching team to ensure camps run smoothly.
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies and procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, childcare or activity-based environment is desirable.
- A positive, enthusiastic and energetic attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate children of different ages and abilities.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare is advantageous (training provided if required).
- A passion for helping children build confidence, make friends and have fun.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
