Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and maintaining employee records. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in payroll management and human resources systems to contribute to the smooth operation of our organisation.
Duties
- Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will process employee payroll accurately and on time using various payroll software platforms such as Workday, PeopleSoft, and HRIS systems.
- Manage data entry related to employee hours, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll components.
- Oversee accounts payable functions related to payroll, ensuring timely payments to employees.
- Maintain and update employee records within HRIS and accounting software.
- Reconcile payroll data and prepare reports for management review.
- Assist with year-end reporting and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with human resources and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legislation and organisational policies regarding payroll processing.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
Skills
- Proven experience with payroll systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, HRIS, or QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and data entry procedures.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex payroll data.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes.
- Solid understanding of human resources principles related to payroll administration.
- Organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for liaising across departments.
- Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities efficiently.
Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
