Birmingham City FC Foundation is looking for an energetic, people-focused, and community-driven Community Hub Coordinator to play a leading role in shaping an exciting Community Hub in the heart of Birmingham. Working alongside our charitable partner Bfriends, you'll help transform the Hub into a vibrant, welcoming space where residents, families, children, and community groups can connect, learn, and thrive.
This is more than a facilities role. It's an opportunity to become a visible and trusted presence within the community, building relationships, delivering impactful programmes, and ensuring the Hub becomes a place that local people genuinely feel belongs to them.

What You'll Be Doing
As our Community Hub Coordinator, you'll be at the centre of community life, leading engagement activities, creating opportunities, and developing partnerships that make a lasting impact whilst ensuring that our facility is well managed and provides and safe and welcoming environment.
You'll:
- Build strong relationships with local residents, community groups, schools, faith groups, and partner organisations.

Lead outreach initiatives that connect people with opportunities, support, and services.

Design and deliver an exciting programme of activities and events that respond directly to local needs.

Create inclusive opportunities for children, young people, families, and wider community members.

Develop partnerships that strengthen community provision and maximise social impact.

Promote activities and services to increase participation and engagement.

Help identify funding and development opportunities to grow the Hub's reach and sustainability.

Monitor impact and celebrate the difference the Hub is making across the community.
Alongside community engagement, you'll help ensure the Hub remains a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for everyone who walks through the door. This includes supporting bookings, customer service, facilities management, reporting, and compliance activities.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and understands the power of community.
You'll bring:
- Experience in community engagement, stakeholder engagement, or project coordination.

A proven ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people and organisations.

Experience working with diverse communities and engaging individuals from different backgrounds.

Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with partners and colleagues.

A passion for helping people and improving lives through community-based initiatives.

Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications.

Experience working within the charity, third-sector, community, youth work, or social impact sectors would be highly beneficial.
