South Bank Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our busy community pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Dispenser.
Previous pharmacy experience or qualifications are welcome but are not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, works well as part of a team and is committed to providing excellent customer service.
Main responsibilities
- Preparing and labelling prescriptions accurately
- Supporting the pharmacist and pharmacy team with the safe supply of medicines
- Ordering, receiving and putting away pharmacy stock
- Serving customers and responding to general enquiries
- Answering telephone calls and dealing with prescription requests
- Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
- Keeping the dispensary and pharmacy clean, organised and well stocked
- Completing the required pharmacy dispensing qualification and workplace training
- Supporting the wider team during busy periods

Experience working in a pharmacy, healthcare or customer-facing environment would be helpful, but it is not essential.
