Quality, Safety, Environmental & Compliance Manager (QSEC Manager)
Location: London - in and around M25 (with regular site and operational visits)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Up to £55,000, depending on experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality, Safety, Environmental & Compliance (QSEC) Manager to join a leading organisation within the lift and engineering sector.
This senior role is responsible for leading the company's Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, and Compliance functions, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance while driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001)
- Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation, environmental regulations, GDPR, and industry standards
- Manage audits, certifications, regulatory inspections, and compliance reporting
- Oversee risk assessments, RAMS, COSHH, incident investigations, and RIDDOR reporting
- Act as the main point of contact for regulators, auditors, and accreditation bodies
- Provide technical compliance support, including Declarations of Conformity, Building Safety Regulator documentation, and interpretation of industry standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a QSEC, HSEQ, or Compliance leadership role within engineering, construction, manufacturing, or a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation, ISO standards, and compliance frameworks
- Experience leading audits and driving continuous improvement
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and ISO Lead Auditor qualification preferred
