Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise all designated areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and bedrooms
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Change bed linens and organise items as required
- Dispose of rubbish and replenish supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition and stored appropriately
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Adhere to client-specific instructions regarding cleaning preferences and special requests
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
