Quality & Production Supervisor

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Due to continued growth, CLA Fabrications Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of production, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the production team to deliver work safely, efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting the day-to-day production operation.
- Leading and motivating a small production team (working alongside one other supervisor).
- Loading and unloading wagons safely using company equipment.
- Checking production paperwork and ensuring jobs are completed correctly.
- Carrying out quality control inspections to ensure products meet CLA's high standards.
- Monitoring workflow and helping to prioritise production schedules.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Reporting production issues and working with management to resolve them quickly.
- Assisting with stock movement and general factory operations where required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Supervisory or team leader experience is preferred.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to lead by example.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Forklift licence would be an advantage, although training can be provided.
