Dental Rooms Wimbledon Village is an award-winning, state-of-the-art private dental practice located in the heart of Wimbledon Village. Our multidisciplinary team of over 35 clinicians and support staff provides exceptional patient care across general, cosmetic and specialist dentistry, including dental implants, orthodontics, periodontics, endodontics and facial aesthetics.
We are looking for a caring, professional and motivated Dental Nurse & Receptionist to join our friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both clinical nursing and front-of-house patient care while working in a premium private practice.
About the Role
This is a varied role where you will divide your time between chairside dental nursing and supporting our reception team. You will work alongside experienced dentists and specialists, delivering outstanding patient care in a modern, well-equipped environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
- Provide chairside support to dentists and specialist clinicians.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain the highest standards of cross-infection control.
- Ensure all instruments and equipment are prepared and sterilised in accordance with CQC and HTM 01-05 guidelines.
- Support patients throughout their treatment journey with empathy and professionalism.
- Assist with specialist procedures, including dental implants, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
- Maintain accurate clinical records where required.
Reception Duties
- Welcome patients and deliver a first-class customer experience.
- Manage appointments, patient enquiries and telephone calls.
- Process payments and maintain accurate patient records.
- Use SOE/Exact dental practice management software to manage appointments, patient records and day-to-day administration (experience preferred).
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
- Work closely with the clinical and management teams to ensure excellent patient service.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is GDC registered (or enrolled on a recognised Dental Nursing course).
- Has previous experience working in a dental practice.
- Has experience using SOE/Exact dental software (preferred but not essential).
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organised, reliable and able to multitask.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
- Is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.
- Experience assisting with dental implant procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Has the legal right to work in the UK.
