We are looking for a visible, values-driven Pastoral Leader to take ownership of a year group and play a key role in driving standards, supporting pupils and removing barriers to success. This is not a desk-based role. This is a frontline leadership role built on presence, relationships and high expectations. As a Pastoral Leader you will:
- Lead the pastoral care of a designated year group
- Drive improvements in attendance, behaviour and wellbeing
- Provide targeted mentoring for vulnerable and disadvantaged pupils
- Take on key pastoral responsibilities that traditionally sat within tutor roles
- Work closely with Heads of Year and senior leaders
- Be highly visible across the school day, especially at key transition points
- Undertake duties including RL and Encore
- Ensure that barriers to learning are identified and removed quickly
